	Clinic Schedule & New Standard of Play Initiative
		Welcome to another season everybody. As some of you are already aware, clinic dates have now been posted and are currently accepting attendees based on availability. The clinic schedule is posted on our website as well as on the ODHA website complete with contact information. As with any other year you must attend a clinic in order to be certified for the upcoming season and since there will be a new standard of play introduced I would encourage you to attend a clinic as soon as possible. The new standard of play initiative will play a big part in the upcoming season and I would strongly encourage everybody to be aware of it before working any games. Click on Hockey Canada's "It's a New Game!" image, where you can find very useful information and videos on "Standard of Play & Rule Emphasis". Brand new level 1 officials are strongly encouraged to attend the ‘brand new level 1' clinic on Sept. 10. Officials who hope to upgrade to level III must re-certify at level II and may then be eligible to attend the level III upgrade clinic later on in the season. 	NMHAOP Registration Clarification & Training Information
		If you wish to register with the Nepean Minor Hockey Association Officiating Program, please go to this link: http://oms.nmharefs.com/registration.php. Sorry for any previous confusion. For new timekeepers, there will be a mandatory training session at the Walter Baker 'B' arena from 7:00pm to 8:20pm, on Wednesday, September 20th, 2006. Please meet in the hallway, outside of the dressing rooms. Parents are welcome to come. For new referees, there will be a mandatory on-ice training session at the Walter Baker 'B' arena from 7:00pm to 8:20pm, on September 20th, 2006. Matt Wilson, Director of Supervision, and other senior referees will be at the arena to show you which dressing room to use. Please bring your full referee gear, helmet with visor, and whistle. 	NMHAOP Registration Opening on August 7th
		We will be opening registration for all returning on-ice officials and returning timekeepers for the upcoming season on Monday August 7th. Registration instructions will be posted on the website at that time. Registration will be open until Tuesday August 22nd.
