Due to scheduling issues the NMHAOP year end meeting has been moved to Tuesday April 24th at the Greenfields Pub & Eatery on Greenbank Rd. in Barrhaven. The meeting starts at 7pm.
Please join us as we clelebrate another very successful season! Year end awards will be handed out, along with snacks, drinks (non-alcoholic) will be provided by the NMHAOP. Pay cheques will also be handed out at the meeting.
Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 12:10AM The Nepean Minor Hockey Officiating Program is looking for new officials for the upcoming season (2012-2013).
We are accepting registration now for tryouts and interviews in May. If you know anyone that is interested in becoming a referee or timekeeper, please forward this message to them.
To start registration click here. The first 60 to register as referee will be accepted to the skating tryout, while the rest will be on the wait list. The first 40 to register as timekeeper will be accepted for interviews, while the rest will be on the wait list. Make sure that you register early!
Please note that current timekeepers looking to become referees must also register.
The registration period ends on April 14th, 2012.
The meeting for prospective new officials (referees and timekeepers) will take place on Monday, April 23rd at 7:00pm, at the Manordale Community Centre (68 Knoxdale Road, Nepean). Parents of minors are encouraged to attend as well as the applicant.
Minimum age requirements for timekeepers is 13 years of age and 14 for referees (as of Sept 2012).

Registration is now closed! If you miss the deadline, you can go to Kanata, District B (Bytown), or other referee programs that may be accepting new officials for tryouts.

All Timekeepers - 7:00pm to 7:30pm
All Referees - 7:30pm to 8:15pm
Supervisors - 8:15pm to 8:30pm
There will be general play-off information to give out, quiz games to play, along with some prizes, and the rest of the pay cheques will be handed out for those that have not picked it up yesterday.
